"Don't ask yourself what the world needs. Ask yourself what makes you come alive and go do that, because what the world needs is people who have come alive."
- Howard Thurman

I am excited to be here every day. I approach the things I do with passion, because the things I want to be good at are the things I am spending my time on. I wish to learn as much as possible about design and the world. In pursuit of a joyful, equitable, and regenerative world.
Outside of the studio I love to hike, read, spend time with family and friends, bike, cook, make music, visit museums, read, and create.

Landscape makes me come alive.  The experiences that transcend space and time and root you in the here and now. The outdoor settings that bring us together, inspire us, and afford the human experience. It is a feeling I wish to create, a feeling of connection.
Art makes me come alive. The creation and reinterpretation of objects and relationships inspires me to think in new ways, and continually helps me grow.
Architecture makes me come alive. I am told a story by the buildings in my daily experience; transported to a snapshot in time. I am fascinated by the narrative of the built environment. I believe good design enables people to thrive.

please interact with the landscape.
Part of the reason that life is sweet, and that every day is exciting, is the finite nature of our existence. So why limit the human experience? Maximize opportunities for interaction and joy in the built environment, because  we are only here once, and we might as well enjoy it.
"Only those  who will risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go."
- Paul Finch
